US President Donald Trump has threatened to ‘eradicate’ Hamas as the Palestinian militant group and Israel continue to trade blame for breaching a ceasefire brokered by the White House.
Israel is accusing Hamas of delaying the return of hostage bodies and breaching a yellow line to which Israeli forces have withdrawn.
Hamas is alleging the Israeli military has indiscriminately opened fire on civilians and is blocking aid to the war-ravaged strip.
US Vice-President JD Vance is set to arrive in Tel Aviv to discuss the situation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Meanwhile, the 13th of the 28 deceased Israeli hostages has been transported out of Gaza by the Red Cross.
