Shark breach; children escape kindergarten; airborne car crash | 7NEWS

A bodyboarder at Curl Curl Beach in Sydney came within a metre of a suspected great white shark, raising questions about the effectiveness of the new aerial drone surveillance program.

Two children, aged four and five, escaped from their Melbourne kindergarten on Monday and walked over a kilometre home alone. They travelled along St George’s Road in Melbourne’s inner north, a major road with vehicle and tram traffic, before arriving home to watch KPop Demon Hunters.

A Toyota Yaris became airborne and crashed into the side of an empty bus in Archerfield, Brisbane South, becoming lodged in the vehicle. The Yaris driver was taken to the hospital suffering shock, while the bus driver escaped injury. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
