Perth teen granted bail over zoo crocodile attack | 7NEWS
A 16-year-old boy accused of breaking into Perth Zoo’s crocodile enclosure and attacking Dangalabba , a 45-year-old, 400-kilogram crocodile, has been granted bail. The teenager and another 17-year-old allegedly cut locks to access the enclosure after dark, threw bottles at the animal, attacked it with a metal pole, and damaged security cameras before the crocodile charged at them. The boy, who is a ward of the state, has been released into the care of the Department of Communities despite prosecution opposition.
