Daniel Billings faces the second day of his sentencing hearing for the murder of his ex-partner Molly Ticehurst, who was attacked in her country New South Wales home while Billings was out on bail in 2024. The court is examining Billings’ mental state leading up to the deadly attack. Family, friends and supporters, including domestic violence campaigner Donna Thornell, gathered at Orange Court where victim impact statements from Molly’s parents were heard.
