‘Greater momentum’ in home batteries for solar systems

Australian Energy Market Operator CEO Daniel Westerman says the cost of wind energy has “increased” over the past two years.

Mr Westerman told Sky News Australia that the “cost of transmission” has also increased.

“The cost of solar has come down, the cost of batteries has come down, and we’re seeing greater momentum in home batteries as well.”
