Gold Coast named most exposed to rising sea levels
A new report by the Climate Council has cited the Gold Coast as most at risk of rising sea levels due to the city’s density, development and population.
Expert authors of the report found Queensland faces the largest overall losses at $214.5bn with the Gold Coast projected having losses of $84.4 billion across 32,490 properties by the end of the century due to sea level changes.
