The European Central Bank raised interest rates to 2.5 per cent, warning the Iran war and soaring oil prices is fuelling inflation, with other central banks, including the RBA expected to follow; official data shows the number of Australians working more than one job reached one million in the June quarter, accounting for a record 6.9 percent of employed people; and NAB says the first NFL match to be played in Australia – between the LA Rams and San Francisco 49ers – is expected to bring more than $300 million to Melbourne’s economy.
