A 16-year-old boy and his parents, aged 52 and 43, died in a house fire at a granny flat in Wiley Park, Sydney’s southwest. The blaze ignited just before 10pm on Cornelia Street, with flames fully engulfing the structure before firefighters could reach the family through the narrow driveway. Fire investigators are examining the debris to determine the cause, with NSW Fire & Rescue reminding residents to check smoke alarms during the winter period.
