White House admits to ordering two strikes on alleged Venezuelan drug boats
The Trump administration has defended firing twice on an alleged drug boat from Venezuela in September as part of its campaign of airstrikes in the Caribbean. But it has denied a media report that defence secretary Pete Hegseth ordered the second strike with the words “kill everybody”. The incident has sparked bipartisan concern that the strikes may have been illegal.
