The iconic getaway car from the 1986 Australian film Malcolm is a yellow 1970 Honda Z360, engineered to split into two independent halves for narrow alleyway escapes. The practical effect, designed by creator David Parker, involved cutting two cars with angle grinders, and they are now iconic, functional props housed in the National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA).
