Australia is on track to eliminate cervical cancer by 2035, but Aboriginal women won’t reach that milestone until 2047. The New South Wales government is investing over half a million dollars into Aboriginal-led screening programs developed with community input to improve access, strengthen cultural safety, and support the Aboriginal health workforce. The funding will expand access to self-collection tests across the state.
