Aussies from hantavirus ship to quarantine in facility north of Perth
Five Australian passengers from a rat virus riddled cruise ship will be forced into strict quarantine when they arrive on home soil, with authorities treating the rare outbreak with COVID-level caution.
The Australians and a New Zealander are flying to the Netherlands before returning to Australia.
They will travel for more than 25 hours with a team of doctors monitoring for symptoms, landing at RAAF Base Pearce in Perth, before being transferred to Bullsbrook Centre for National Resilience. #hantavirus #virus #outbreak #australia #perth
