Trump stuns UN: ‘Your countries are going to hell’ | Super Typhoon Ragasa smashes HK and Taiwan
Donald Trump has used his speech at the UN General Assembly to suggest other countries are ‘going to hell’ because of migration and denied science by calling climate change a ‘con’.
Australia’s Prime Minister has a brief encounter with the US President in person in New York. The PM is now scheduled to return to North America for the third time in five months, after the White House confirmed a formal bilateral meeting will be held in Washington next month.
The most powerful tropical cyclone of the year, Super Typhoon Ragasa, has now made its way to China’s southern coast displacing nearly two million people in Guangdong province. Super Typoon Ragasa led to landslides and flooding in the Philippines and claimed at least 14 lives in Taiwan after torrential rain caused a barrier lake to burst its banks.
