Trump confirms the US seized oil tanker off Venezuela
The US has just seized an oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela.
This was confirmed by US President Donald Trump on Thursday morning.
“We have just seized a tanker on the coast of Venezuela … largest one ever seized actually,” President Trump said.
In recent weeks, the US has been increasing its military presence around Venezuela, moving its assets to the region.
