Southeast Australia faces hottest September day in years | 7NEWS
Parts of southeastern Australia are experiencing their hottest September day since 2023, with temperatures reaching 27C to 28C across Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Hobart. Temperatures are 6C to 12C degrees above average for this time of year. The hot weather is expected to drop on Monday and Tuesday before rising again towards the following weekend, in what’s being called a spring roller coaster pattern.
