Journalists ousted from White House as Trump enforces media ban
US President Donald Trump has implemented a ban restricting journalists’ access to the White House grounds.
News outlets reported that their press passes were confiscated on Saturday.
In separate statements, they expressed their commitment to defending press freedom.
CNN responded, stating:
“CNN’s mission to report on the US government will continue regardless of any attempts to restrict physical access to the White House and other government buildings, or any other attempts to impede our journalism.”
