Starmer says he’s ‘not going to yield’ to pressure from Trump

Writer Esther Krakue reacts to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer claiming he’s “not going to yield” to pressure from US President Donald Trump on the Iran war.

“His reaction has been rational in regards to his base, in regards to Labour still having a base because they’re trailing behind in the polling disastrously,” Ms Krakue told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.

“This is a man who is more interested in funding welfare payments than actually properly funding our military … we don’t even have a deployable army.”
