A 29-year-old man has been charged with multiple offences including assault with a weapon after allegedly stabbing a 54-year-old woman during a neighbourhood dispute in Wangaratta, leaving her with critical injuries. The Emerson nightclub in South Yarra has been targeted by arsonists in the latest firebombing attack on Melbourne entertainment venues, with a dark-coloured vehicle seen fleeing the Commercial Road premises. A 58-year-old pilot survived a plane crash in Berrima in the NSW Southern Highlands after his aircraft split in half upon impact in a paddock, suffering leg injuries.
