Pauline Hanson furious over prime minister’s latest call

Pauline Hanson’s latest clash with Anthony Albanese is escalating, with One Nation demanding more taxpayer-funded staffers ===m

Pauline Hanson has called on Anthony Albanese to double One Nation’s allocation of taxpayer-funded political advisers, arguing the current system unfairly favours major parties and punishes political opponents.

The row centres on specialised staff who work behind the scenes on policy and communications, with Hanson accusing the Prime Minister of using his discretion over staff allocations to target political enemies. The dispute also revives criticism of Albanese’s 2022 decision to cut crossbench staffing support.

This comes as Hanson criticises Labor after One Nation’s win in Secret Harbour in Western Australia, a seat widely seen as safely held by Labor.

The Prime Minister says parties like One Nation have no serious answers to major national issues, while Hanson says his language risks fuelling political violence.
