‘Orwell has become their playbook’: UK blasted for ‘1984’ approach to free speech

Sky News host Rowan Dean has called out the UK for their attack on free speech as a British woman has her charges fast-tracked over a deleted tweet she made.

“George Orwell has become the playbook for how Britain is now operating,” Mr Dean said.

“Treating a thoughtcrime as terrorism, that is straight out of 1984, and that is exactly what they are doing.

“The point is that she is being treated as the worst of the worst when all she was doing was responding angrily to an awful event.”
