Early polls are favouring the People’s Party to win Thailand’s election despite a surge in popularity for the government during the border war with Cambodia.
Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul called a snap election after his coalition collapsed last year.
The progressive People’s Party is hoping to capitalise on the momentum which won the last election for their previous incarnation, the Move Forward party. Meanwhile, the Bhumjaithai party campaigns on their tough stance in dealing with conflicts.
