Oil prices face ‘biggest-one day decline’ since June
CommSec’s Tom Piotrowski has commented on oil prices facing their “biggest one-day decline” since June.
“Yesterday, we were talking about the biggest weekly gains since June. We saw the biggest one-day decline since June last night in oil prices, down by the better part of four per cent,” Mr Piotrowski told Sky News Australia.
“It turns around the prospect of OPEC and allied producers increasing production at their meeting, which will conclude at the end of this week.
“Energy stocks were amongst the worst of decliners in northern hemisphere trade last night.”
