French authorities have admitted they’re no closer to recovering the stolen jewels from the Louvre in Paris, despite more arrests over October’s brazen heist.
A further five people have been detained, bringing the total number of arrests to seven.
Prosecutors say DNA evidence linked the main suspect to the theft and they hope the other individuals in custody will help them with information about the robbery.
