Lebanon’s army to confront Israeli forces following deadly incursion and strike
Lebanon’s President Joseph Aoun has announced he has instructed the country’s armed forces to confront any further Israeli incursions.
This comes after Israeli forces crossed over the border and killed a municipal worker during an overnight raid.
According to Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency, Israeli troops were accompanied by drones and light armoured vehicles before they killed a municipal worker.
President Aoun has repeatedly called for Israel to end their deadly strikes on Lebanon as the IDF intensifies its attacks.
Israel has continuously struck southern and eastern Lebanon, killing three people in what they say were attacks on Hezbollah members.
