Man charged over deepfake poster campaign across Queensland

A 52-year-old man from Cleveland has been charged with 43 offences after allegedly using artificial intelligence to create fake nude images of women and distributing them on posters across south-east Queensland. Police say the deepfake posters named victims, revealed their workplaces and social media profiles, and falsely labelled them as sex workers in what investigators describe as a calculated campaign of humiliation. #deepfake #Queensland #cybercrime
