UMWU wins gold for the most ‘monumentally stupid’ thing a union has done
Sky News Contributor Joe Hildebrand believes the Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union’s decision to oppose the union jack on the Australian flag is the most “monumentally stupid thing a union has done”.
“The Labor party is using Labor voters, it is using its Labor block, and then you have a union which is meant to be keeping them there, while haemorrhaging members itself, coming up with absolute bollocks stuff like this, at a moment where the working class is moving over to One Nation,’ Mr Hildelbrand told Sky News host Steve Price.
“This is an act of absolute treachery.
“It is disgraceful, despicable, stupid, and so unspeakably, I can’t even find the level of this idiocy required to describe how dumb this is.”
