Lamarre-Condon trial told of fake cancer diagnosis
The first week of the double murder trial of Beau Lamarre-Condon has concluded.
The Supreme Court today heard the former police officer used a friend’s social media account to help him fake a cancer diagnosis to explain his erratic behaviour towards Jessie Baird, months before he allegedly killed the 26-year-old and his new partner, Luke Davies.
Lamarre-Condon has pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder and one charge of aggravated break and enter.
