A man shot dead in the car park of a community centre in Sydney’s south-west has been confirmed as boxing coach Louis Meehan.
Police believed the 32-year-old had links to outlaw motorcycle gangs and that the shooting was a targeted attack.
It marked the third fatal shooting in Sydney in just over a week.
Police said the attack in Punchbowl had no connection to a gangland war linked to the previous two incidents.
