‘Completely tasteless’: Albanese savaged for four-time refusal to apologise to Japan’s PM

Liberal Leader Angus Taylor tears into Prime Minister Anthony Albanese over his crude remarks about Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, accusing him of repeatedly refusing to apologise despite being given four opportunities in Question Time.

“This was completely tasteless,” Mr Taylor told News24 host Peta Credlin.

“It was beneath the office of the prime minister to make these comments.

“Four times in Question Time in the last two days we’ve offered him the opportunity to apologise to the Japanese prime minister; four times he’s chosen not to.

“He just has to say sorry.”
