Charlie Kirk’s wife Erika has spoken at her husband’s memorial in Glendale, saying she forgives the shooter and found comfort in knowing he died doing what he loved.
Erika has also opened up about what happened the day of his death, saying she had insisted he start wearing a bulletproof vest just the night before.
It comes after a recent interview with the New York Times, in which she revealed she wears the pendant Charlie was wearing the day of his shooting.
Erika also revealed she is the new CEO and Chair of Turning Point USA, the organisation she founded with her husband.
She promised to make Turning Point “the biggest thing the nation has ever seen” in the wake of his death.
