Renowned Australian rapper Briggs has warned federal parliament that artificial intelligence represents an “existential threat” to artists’ livelihoods, if copyright protections are changed. Creative’s in Canberra rejected a push by tech companies to allow AI to train on their work without compensation. They are warning the nation’s oldest cultures could be ripped off.
