Investigators have ruled out arson as the cause of Saturday’s Central Coast bushfire that destroyed 16 homes and damaged another 23. The Premier and Emergency Services Minister visited the area to thank fire crews and announce support measures including $900 emergency payments, extended accommodation for 75 families, and prescription-free pharmacy access for medication. Authorities are calling for more Rural Fire Service volunteers due to concerns about the worsening bushfire threat expected this summer.
