A major bushfire emergency is threatening the Tasmanian holiday town of Stiglitz, with at least two houses destroyed and residents evacuated twice. The blaze has forced authorities to close roads and warn locals and tourists they may need to escape to the ocean to avoid flames. This follows a devastating week for Tasmania, with 19 homes already destroyed by fire at Dolphin Sands further south.
