A coroner has recommended changes to national driving fitness standards following the death of a cyclist who was hit and killed by a partially blind driver on a South Australian country highway seven years ago.
Robert Hall, 66, was wearing a high-vis vest while riding along the side of the Horrocks Highway, near Quorn, in the state’s north when he was struck by motorist John Charles Robertson in May 2018.
