Trump’s media ban backfires as event broadcast with no audio
Donald Trump’s row with three media outlets may have backfired on the US president after a ribbon cutting event at the White House was broadcast with no audio.
Earlier this week, Trump barred CNN, MS Now and Politico from the White House, accusing them of broadcasting “fake news”.
In solidarity with the banned outlets, other pool networks effectively boycotted a number of Trump’s events.
A US federal judge has since ordered the bans be overturned.
