‘When will the reckless spending end?’: Ley calls out Labor government as RBA lifts rates

Opposition Leader Sussan Ley calls out the Albanese government’s “reckless spending”.

“The average mortgage holder is already paying around $21 thousand more each year in interest under Labor,” Ms Ley said during Question Time on Tuesday.

“The prime minister promised Australians we had ‘turned the corner’ on inflation.

“Government spending is fuelling this mortgage pain; when will the treasurer’s reckless spending end?”
