‘Well said’: JK Rowling backed after blasting WNBA co-owner for berating teen fans
News24 host Rita Panahi commends author JK Rowling for defending a group of teenage girls who were berated by the co-owner of the Seattle Storm.
The girls came to a WNBA game to thank Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham for her comments supporting the exclusion of transgender athletes from women’s sports.
“I’m glad that Harry Potter author and women’s rights advocate JK Rowling has weighed in on this issue,” Ms Panahi said.
“Well said, JK Rowling.”
