22-year-old YouTuber Jack Doherty was arrested in the early hours of Saturday, November 15, after he blocked a highway in Miami Beach, Florida, to film content.
Footage released by the Miami Beach Police Department shows Doherty’s arrest on Washington Avenue.
“Despite multiple lawful commands to clear the roadway, Doherty refused to comply, responding, ‘Once I’m done with this bet!’” the police said. “He was taken into custody without incident, and a search revealed suspected amphetamine and cannabis.”
Doherty posted a video on Sunday saying, “I’m a free man baby, let’s go!” while holding his belongings in a bag.
Later that day, he posted a video from his “crib,” wearing a T-shirt with his mugshot and a TMZ logo, announcing that he was about to take his “first shower since getting out.”
