Voters flock to One Nation as Liberals fail to ‘back in’ Australia Day
A Waverley Liberal councillor has quit her party over the lack of support from her colleagues after plans to expand Australia Day celebrations were rejected.
News24 host Danica De Giorgio claims this plays into One Nation’s hands.
“We talk about this a lot; why voters are going to One Nation, why they’re flocking because you’ve got Liberals … who won’t even back in our national day,” she said.
