TV host demands ABC be defunded over ‘vile’ on-air attack against Gina Rinehart

Sky News host Rowan Dean fires up at the ABC, condemning a recent segment targeting Gina Rinehart and calling it one of the most disturbing moments he has witnessed on Australian television.

“One of the most disgusting and disturbing things I think I’ve seen in Australian television … It is vile, it is repulsive, it’s Sunday morning, so I do apologise, but you have to understand that this is your ABC,” Mr Dean said.

“The most disgusting attack on Gina Rinehart under the guise of so-called comedy this week should make every Australian sick to the stomach that another Australian should be put through this.

“The ABC should be immediately defunded … a single member of the coalition should refuse to ever appear again on the ABC until there is a full apology.”
