Trump urged to address diesel-induced inflation as GOP faces potential midterm voter backlash
News24 Contributor Kristin Tate argues the Trump administration needs to address the diesel-induced price spikes in daily essentials, saying “everything is so expensive”.
“A lot of the prices, even for just normal things like groceries, are stemming from the high diesel prices,” Ms Tate told News24 host Chris Kenny.
“This is something that is very important to the administration to get these prices down, and he (Donald Trump) is getting a lot of pressure from these Republicans running in tight races.
“The number one issue that voters appear complaining about … is these high prices.”
