Prince William halts traffic outside Buckingham Palace to play with cricket stars
Prince William has turned one of London’s most famous roads into a temporary cricket pitch.
The Mall’s wide red paved promenade in the heart of the city is usually the setting for grand royal processions and celebrations.
However, today the Prince of Wales used it to play an informal game with current and former international cricket players, including England captain Joe Root.
It’s believed the event is designed to celebrate the ties between Britain and India.
