Trump reveals US Navy has cleared the Strait of Hormuz of mines
President Donald Trump claims the US Navy has removed or detonated all mines in international waters on the Strait of Hormuz.
President Trump made the announcement on Truth Social, saying: “Iran has been notified that any ship or boat placing new mines will be immediately and systematically destroyed.”
President Trump has long claimed the US has control of the waterway despite Iran firing against vessels it says have attempted to cross without its permission.
