The ‘ideology’ of net zero is sending countries into ‘debt’

Former Victorian Liberal Party president Michael Kroger agrees with former prime minister Scott Morrison on the net zero debate, calling it an “ideology”.

“Most people don’t know what net zero means … they sort of grab this phrase and say we agree with it,” Mr Kroger told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.

“It’s become part of the religion here.

“We like it as an objective, but it is sending out counties deep into debt.”
