‘The country is going to hell’: Fury as UK Prime Minister appears on Gogglebox

News24 host Samara Gill questions the Prime Minister’s decision to appear on the television show Gogglebox, accusing him of being absent while Britain faces mounting problems.

“The way that the prime minister is on Gogglebox tonight of all places, which. you know, for those who don’t know, is this sort of very hokey show where people react to the news,” Ms Gill said.

“I mean, what is going on with Andy Burnham?

“I mean, our prime minister is basically missing in action while the country is going to hell.”
