‘The clock cannot be turned back’: Iran’s supreme leader issues stark warning after US strikes

Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has warned that US military bases in the Middle East may no longer be safe following American strikes in southern Iran.

Mr Khamenei said regional countries would no longer act as protection for US bases in the area.

“The clock cannot be turned back, and the nations and lands of the region will no longer be a shield for American bases,” Mr Khamenei said.

“America will no longer have a safe place in the region for mischief and the establishment of military bases.”
