Tehran denies Navy commander a target in Iranian blast | More than 120 dead in Pakistan attacks

Iran is tonight beginning live fire exercises in the Persian Gulf, heightening tensions amid a US military build-up in the region. Earlier, a blast rocked the port of Bandar Abbas, killing a 4-year-old child and injuring 14 others.

Pakistan’s security forces say they have killed 92 militant fighters – including three suicide bombers – marking one of the deadliest days for militants in decades. 18 civilians, and 15 security personnel were also killed.
