‘Stupid but cute’: Herd of sheep storm into German supermarket

Sky News contributor Jaimee Rogers retells a story about how a herd of sheep stormed into a German supermarket.

“There were 50 sheep, thought that they were following a woman who they think had snacks in a bag,” Ms Rogers said.

“They had customers that were jumping onto the conveyor belt to get out of the way.

“This supermarket has then since announced it’s going to provide the sheep a year’s worth of free food, because this stampede has turned out to be excellent publicity for the supermarket.

“All of these sheep at the end all left in a single file quite neatly … back to where they belong.”
