Lego showcases new Star Wars smart bricks
Smart Bricks debut in Lego Star Wars
The firm said the Lego Smart Brick would begin to be available from March, although the timing for Australia is unclear.
It’s also announced the first of several Lego Star Wars Smart Play box sets which will also be available in the coming months.
The Smart system means Lightsabres will hum when in battle, Lego has said, spaceships will roar and even The Imperial March theme music will play at appropriate moments.
Lego’s Ms Goldin said the introduction of the Smart Brick was at an early stage and is expected it uses will expand.
“This is the beginning of an amazing journey. We can’t wait to see what actually happens next as there are so many opportunities of how this platform will evolve”.
