Shark expert weighs in on unprecedented attacks in Sydney
Sydney has experienced four shark attacks within 48 hours prompting concerns and discussions around safety measures.
Bond University Environmental Science Professor Daryl McPhee attributes the cluster to favorable conditions for bull sharks, including warmer waters, heavy rains, and murky conditions.
While shark culls have been suggested, Mr McPhee advises against it, emphasising the importance of swimming between flags on patrolled beaches, avoiding murky waters and areas with bait fish activity.
